Senior UI/UX Designer – R&D at Integrity Labs · Trevo
We build products used by intelligence and government agencies working on some of the toughest problems out there — national security, public safety, and counter-crime operations. Our platforms help analysts and operators surface, understand, and act on complex data, in environments where accuracy, speed, and trust aren’t optional.
We’re growing our Product-UX team and looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join the team, working closely with Engineering inside a technical, hands-on R&D organization.
Depth of systems thinking, speed of execution, and maturity of design judgment matter here — as does how well you collaborate with the rest of the team.
We’re looking for someone who can translate complex, high-stakes investigative workflows into fast, clear, dependable interfaces, and who naturally uses modern AI tools to accelerate their design process.
What you'll do
Workflow & Information Architecture: Design intuitive, user-centered workflows and information architectures for complex, data-dense web applications.
End-to-End Design: Turn product specs and user needs into wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
Visual UI & Design System: Craft polished, consistent interfaces; maintain and evolve the design system and component library.
Customer Insights & Feedback: Gather user feedback through conversations and surveys; translate insights into design directions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner daily with Product and Engineering to shape both user-facing interfaces and system-level behaviors.
AI-Augmented Design: Use AI tools to accelerate design exploration and rapid iteration — generating concepts quickly, refining mockups to polish, and maintaining the design system efficiently.
Reducing Cognitive Load: Apply user-centered design principles to simplify complex workflows and reduce cognitive overload.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer for web applications, with a proven track record on complex, technical products.
Strong Portfolio: demonstrating interaction design, information architecture, and strong visual/UI design on real, shipped products.
