A leading defense technology company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop advanced mechanical systems, dynamic assemblies, mechanisms, and aerospace structures.
What you'll do
Design mechanical systems, structural components, assemblies, mechanisms, and aerospace structures
Define suitable manufacturing methods and processes for designed components
Perform strength calculations and basic structural analyses using CAD/CAE tools
Support designs throughout the development and manufacturing lifecycle
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of experience in the mechanical design of systems and dynamic assemblies
Solid understanding of manufacturing methods and processes
Nice to have
Experience with composite materials and their manufacturing processes
Experience with Siemens NX in a Teamcenter environment
Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools such as ANSYS or Nastran
