Job Description: Director of Events
Location: Remote
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing – Alma Lasers USA
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000, Commensurate with Experience
This position is full-time and primarily remote, with a minimum of 30% travel to our Corporate Headquarters in the Fulton Market area of Chicago, IL. as well as other business initiatives.

Position Summary
Playing a pivotal role in brand experience, HCP engagement, and commercial execution, the Director of Events will lead the strategy, planning, execution and performance of a modern live events portfolio that strengthens market presence and drives business growth. This leader will shape how the brand is experienced across national symposia, national meetings, tradeshows, masterclasses, and executive events. This position is responsible for creating high-impact experiences that build relationships, generate demand, support sales priorities, and elevate brand perception while maintaining strict budget governance. Equal parts strategic and operational, this leader ensures every live event is executed with excellence, efficiency, and measurable business impact.

Event Strategy & Portfolio Management
· Develop and lead annual event strategy aligned to commercial priorities, product objectives, and growth initiatives.
· Manage full portfolio of national tradeshows, congresses, and internal meetings.
· Evaluate live event investments and prioritize programs based on business impact, audience value, and return on investment.
Execution & Experience Delivery
· Lead end-to-end planning and flawless execution of all live events, including logistics, timelines, budgets, vendors, staffing, and onsite management and execution.
· Create premium brand experiences that strengthen HCP connection and differentiate brand in market.
· Ensure consistent execution standards, operational discipline, and attention to detail across every touchpoint.
Commercial Impact & Cross-Functional Alignment
· Partner with sales, marketing, clinical, product, and leadership teams to align live events with revenue goals and strategic priorities.
· Build lead generation, HCP engagement, and pre and post-event strategies that maximize pipeline and commercial impact.
· Track performance metrics including attendance, lead volume, influence on pipeline, and overall ROI.
Vendor & Budget Management
· Manage agency, production, venue, travel, and vendor relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and value.
· Manage live event budgets, forecasting, contract negotiation, and cost optimization across live events portfolio.
· Identify opportunities to modernize spend while driving premium execution.
Leadership & Team Development
· Lead and develop internal team members supporting live events and related functions.
· Build scalable processes, planning systems, and operating rhythms that improve speed and execution quality.
· Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture across teams and partners.

Education and Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience leading and executing live event marketing, experiential marketing, national meetings, hospitality, or related functions.
• Demonstrated strength in relationship building, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership across internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
• Experience managing budgets, agencies, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience within medical devices, aesthetics, healthcare, or other regulated industries preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will have 2–3 direct reports across live events, experiential, and related functions, while leading multiple strategic initiatives and supporting cross-functional team development.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel
This position requires at least 40% travel for business purposes, including some weekends.
