At HP Indigo R&D, we're looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to take ownership of complex mechanical systems, work on cutting-edge digital press technology, and spend their time creating innovative solutions. This role is ideal for engineers with strong mechanical design experience who are looking to expand into a new technical domain while taking on broad design ownership from concept to production and have a major products impact.

What you'll do
Lead design complex mechanical assemblies from concept through production.
Develop innovative mechanical solutions
Take ownership of complete mechanical modules and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical decision-making.
Create detailed CAD models and production drawings.
Work closely with manufacturing, system engineers, suppliers, and industrial designers to deliver robust products.
We're looking for someone who has
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
7+ years of mechanical design experience in multidisciplinary R&D environments.
Strong hands-on experience with CAD
Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing principles.
Experience designing complex mechanical assemblies or products.
Curiosity, technical creativity, and a passion for solving engineering challenges.
A desire to learn a new technical domain and take broad ownership.
