TytoCare was founded in 2012 by Dedi Gilad and Ofer Tzadok. The company is headquartered in New York and maintains an R&D center in Israel. It is privately held and has raised multiple funding rounds from investors including Insight Partners and Olive Tree Ventures.

TytoCare develops a handheld home examination device that enables remote clinical-grade examination of ears, throat, heart, lungs, and skin, paired with a telehealth platform. The product targets primary care physicians, health plans, and insurers seeking to extend telehealth beyond standard video consultations. Sales are primarily B2B, sold through contracts with health systems, insurers, and employer benefits programs.
