Torq

Torq is an Israeli-American cybersecurity company founded in 2020 by Ofer Smadari, Leonid Belkind, and Eldad Livni. The company is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with its R&D center in Israel. Torq raised a $70 million Series C led by Evolution Equity Partners in 2023, following a $42 million Series B in 2022.

Torq built a Security Hyperautomation platform aimed at security operations teams. It enables SOC and incident response teams to automate alert triage, incident response workflows, and security operations processes without relying on dedicated engineering resources. The platform connects to hundreds of existing security tools via pre-built integrations and provides a visual interface for building playbooks. The primary buyers are enterprise security teams.

The flagship product is Torq HyperSOC, introduced in 2023, which adds AI-driven capabilities for autonomous end-to-end alert management. The underlying automation platform, sold as Torq, serves as the core workflow-building engine for security operations teams.

All three founders are Israeli. The company's engineering and R&D functions are based in Israel, while go-to-market and executive functions are concentrated in the United States.
