Following the sale of its legacy search and ride-hailing businesses in Russia, the company utilized its newly liquid balance sheet to aggressively secure NVIDIA allocations and expand its GPU clusters across Europe. The broader Nebius Group also houses three other international businesses separated from Yandex: data-labeling firm Toloka AI, autonomous driving venture Avride, and edtech platform TripleTen.

Israel Presence

Israel serves as a central R&D hub for Nebius, with a large engineering center located in Tel Aviv. The local site absorbed a significant portion of the technical talent that relocated from Russia following the geopolitical shifts of 2022 and 2023, supplemented by ongoing local Israeli engineering hires. The Tel Aviv teams focus heavily on cloud infrastructure engineering, backend systems, data science, and MLops development.
