Freightos

Freightos was founded in 2012 by Zvi Schreiber. The company is headquartered in Jerusalem and operates a digital booking and payment platform for international freight. In January 2023, Freightos became a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ under the ticker CRGO, following a SPAC merger with Gesher Acquisition Corp.

The company digitizes the procurement and management of international shipping, shifting a traditionally manual, offline process into a digital marketplace. The primary product lines include Freightos.com, a marketplace for importers and exporters to compare and book cargo; WebCargo, a software platform used by freight forwarders to book capacity directly with airlines and ocean carriers; and Freightos Data, which maintains the Freightos Baltic Index (FBX), a widely cited daily index of global container freight rates.
