Job Description
What you'll do
Check Point is a leader in cyber security — and we're the startup inside it. Our team builds Check Point's workspace security platform, AI-driven end to end: agents that correlate alerts and detections from a multitude of security products into complete attack stories with remediation, and turn configuration events into posture recommendations. Design and build the pipeline that correlates alerts and detections from multiple security products into coherent, complete attack stories with actionable remediation
Build AI agents at the heart of the product, including prompt engineering, tool integration, evaluation frameworks, model migrations, and production-grade quality, latency, and cost optimization
Design event-driven, high-scale services on AWS managed services, along with the underlying data models and query paths
Own your domain end-to-end in production, including data, dashboards, alerts, and reliability
Work directly with Product Managers and Security Researchers to define what constitutes a correct attack story and a useful recommendation
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and its managed services
Proven experience leveraging AI in production products, including LLM and agent integration, prompt and tool design, evaluation, latency optimization, and cost control
Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day software development workflows
Experience designing and implementing event-driven and microservices architectures
Strong experience with data pipelines and databases, including schema design, query optimization, and large-scale systems
B.Sc. in Computer Science from a leading university or college
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership who thrives in a small, fast-paced environment
Passion for engineering excellence and product delivery, with a focus on both code quality and customer impact
Nice to have
Hands-on Python experience; our primary technology stack is Python
Cybersecurity background, including detection engineering, incident response, SOC workflows, or security products
Data engineering background, including large-scale data ingestion, analytical data stores, and stream-processing systems
