Junior Software Engineer

Company Description Bellboy Robotics is building Billie, an operating system for physical AI that enables people, agents, and robots to work together as a unified team. The company brings a robotic workforce to commercial buildings where labor is scarce and operations are complex, with a focus on hotels, event venues, hospitals, and office buildings. Bellboy Robotics already operates with hotel chains, demonstrating real-world impact and scalability. The team is founded by leaders from Amazon Robotics, Apple, Microsoft, and Israel’s mission to the Moon, offering applicants the opportunity to learn from experienced industry pioneers. The company aims to make physical AI accessible to everyday businesses, not just factories, driving innovation in real-world environments. Role Description The Junior Software Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of software components that power Billie and its integration with robotic and building systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing features, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and collaborating with senior engineers on design and architecture decisions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable communication between robots, cloud services, and user interfaces, as well as participating in code reviews and improving development workflows. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, requiring regular in-person collaboration and hands-on work with hardware and software in live environments.
