About the role
Network Security Engineer
📍 Holon | Hybrid | Full-Time
A leading fintech company is looking for a Network Security Engineer to design, manage and secure its communication infrastructure. You'll combine architectural vision with hands-on work and play a central role in protecting critical core systems in a large enterprise environment.
What you'll do
Implement and manage network security mechanisms
Monitor and analyze traffic to detect threats
Design network architecture and write HLD/LLD documents
Manage cloud communication infrastructure on GCP
Troubleshoot complex issues and run health and compliance checks
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer
Hands-on Layer 2/3 experience with Cisco switches and routers
Operating and maintaining load balancers (F5 / Alteon)
Operating and maintaining firewalls (Check Point / Palo Alto / FortiGate)
Deep knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, UDP, GRE and IPSec
Experience with remote access solutions (IPSec, IP-VPN, Metro)
Technical writing: HLD, LLD, RFP, RFI and SOW
Managing communication and security solutions in GCP
Nice to have
SSL/TLS certificate management in enterprise and client-facing environments
Automation with Python, Bash or Ansible
Certifications such as CCNP, NSE 4–6, CCSA, CCSE, F5-CA or F5-CTS
