Role Responsibilities
Lead the electrical system architecture and design of complex semiconductor capital equipment and precision instrumentation. Translate system-level requirements into electrical architectures, subsystem specifications, interfaces, power distribution, grounding, protection, and control strategies.
Define electrical subsystem boundaries, interfaces, design tradeoffs, and technical requirements. Develop system-level power, signal, grounding, shielding, safety, and electromagnetic compatibility strategies.
Design and integrate electrical subsystems including high-voltage power supplies, analog/mixed-signal electronics, low-noise circuits, digital electronics, embedded controllers, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
Establish and drive electrical system design standards, architectures, and best practices to ensure reliability, manufacturability, serviceability, scalability, and overall system performance. Provide technical direction and engineering leadership across electrical design activities, mentor engineers on complex technical challenges, and guide cross-functional teams in making sound electrical system and design decisions.
