Job Description We are looking for a PMO Support Engineer to join our Global team and be based out of our site in North Dublin. This engineering professional will be skilled at working with little or no supervision, applies advanced scientific knowledge, engineering knowledge, mathematics, and ingenuity to complete complex assignments. Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Coordinates and support successful execution of global packaging projects using project management software solution. The ideal candidate will be coming from a Pharmaceutical manufacturing background.

What you'll do

  • Coordinates and tracks that global packaging project execution follows established standards.
  • Leads coordination and execution of PMO processes and meetings by preparing agenda and reports to ensure awareness of project progress and issues of interest to the Global Packaging team.
  • Supports department Long Range Plan (LRP) and Capital Plan submissions by analysing projects for accuracy and detail. Ensures project is gated in project management software solution.

  • Serves as department spokesperson on projects and/or programs. Acts as advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
  • Ensures awareness of project status and issues. Develops and presents project updates in liaison with Global Packaging teams
  • Acts as the administrator for the Capital Project Management Cora Software Solution
  • Write project justifications (Request for Capital Expenditure),including savings analysis that may be generated with the investment. Initiate capital project ideas dealing with safety and quality improvement, capacity increase, and/or cost reduction
  • Plan and execute process improvement for capital project management process
  • Plan and execute smaller capital projects
  • Requirements

    • A Bachelors Degree in Engineering, science, or closely related discipline is desired, or equivalent technical experience plus demonstrated competence, with a desired 5 years of significant engineering and/or operational experience.
    • Has demonstrated excellence in breadth and depth within discipline and across disciplines.
    • Strong Project Management skills. Interacts well with diverse groups within engineering and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
    • Listens to and understands others' points of view and articulates tactfully and respectfully one's own perspective orally, in writing, and in presentations.
    • Works well with other engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced goal-driven environment.
    • Strong presentation and management communication skills
    • Possesses interpersonal skills to negotiate and reconcile differences.
    • Has a technical background in health care, medical devices, pharmaceutical industry with first experience in Packaging Operations/Engineering.
    • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, PPT)
