Tabor Electronics is looking for a highly organized, technically capable and hands-on Engineering Operations & NPI Manager to work closely with the VP Engineering and support the effective execution of the company’s engineering activities.
This is a multidisciplinary role combining engineering project coordination, resource and task management, NPI and transfer-to-production activities, and hands-on technical support.
At this position, you will act as the operational arm of the VP Engineering, ensuring that engineering plans are executed and meeting schedule;
The role is particularly suited to someone with a strong electronics background who combines technical understanding with excellent organizational and project-management capabilities and enjoys working closely with engineers while driving execution.
What you'll do
Work closely with the VP Engineering to translate engineering priorities and project requirements into structured work plans, schedules, milestones and individual assignments.
Work closely with manufacturing team on NPI products and work with Engineering team on clear data transfer of NPI products from engineering to manufacturing.
Requirements
Electrical engineer/Practical electrical engineer with strong technical understanding of hardware, FPGA, systems and Lab equipment.
Proven experience in technical project management
Experience working in a multidisciplinary R&D environment involving hardware, software and/or FPGA development.
