ROS Software Engineer JB-5548 at ריקרוטיקס בע"מ · Trevo
A well-funded startup focused on undersea applications - sensing and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).
We are a small, focused team working from the ground up on a proven, IP-protected concept, tackling complex and fascinating technological challenges across robotics, optics, acoustics, mechanics, and software.
The Role We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Robotics & Autonomy team and help build the software that lets our autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) actually operate at sea — from mission planning all the way down to real-time navigation and control.
This is a hands-on role at the core of the autonomy stack.
You will design and build software in simulation, then take it out to real pool and sea trials to see how it holds up against the unpredictability of the ocean — tuning, debugging, and hardening the system as you go.
You will work closely with the hardware and systems teams to make sure the software you write is not just correct on paper, but genuinely reliable in the field.
What you'll do
Develop and maintain a ROS 2-based autonomy stack that powers mission planning, navigation, and control for our AUVs.
Design and implement sensor fusion and underwater navigation algorithms that hold up under real-world noise and uncertainty.
Develop and test algorithms in simulation first, then refine and validate them through pool and field trials.
