Protai is a drug discovery startup combining unique structural proteomics and Generative AI to accelerate rational drug design. We are looking for a motivated and experienced AI engineer to join our team.
What you'll do
Build AI drug discovery tools such as protein structure prediction, drug activity prediction and additional drug properties estimation.
Develop benchmarks and perform data analysis to evaluate model performance on real-world drug discovery projects.
Translate complex biological data into clear, strategic insights that drive team-wide execution.
Collaborate with drug discovery and chemists to design drug candidates and advance drug discovery programs.
Requirements
BSc/ MSc, Computer Science, computational biology or a related field
At least 5 years of experience with one of the following languages: Python/C++/Java/C#/Go/Rust.
Deep expertise in modern deep learning frameworks and experience training and fine-tuning large-scale generative models
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Nice to have
Familiarity with biology, bioinformatics, or computational chemistry
Familiarity with 3D geometric deep learning or biomolecular interaction modeling
