Inviting applications for the role of JR Cloud Engineer!
We're looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure team, supporting internal groups and company clients. You'll work hands-on with Azure services, Kubernetes (AKS), databases, and automation, while contributing to on-call rotation for production support.
What you'll do
Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
Manage and operate Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including deployments, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Support and maintain databases (administration, performance tuning, backups, troubleshooting)
Write and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate infrastructure tasks and operational workflows
Apply AI/ML tools and knowledge to improve automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency (e.g., using AI-assisted tooling, integrating AI services, or supporting AI-related workloads on Azure)
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and provide infrastructure/cloud services to internal groups and external clients
Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to incidents and ensuring system reliability outside of business hours
Document processes, configurations, and incident resolutions clearly
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in English
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, identity/IAM)
Practical experience with AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) - deployments, Helm, scaling, networking, troubleshooting
Working knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL - administration, queries, performance basics)
Working knowledge in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar)
Familiarity with AI tools/platforms (e.g., Azure AI services, LLM integrations, or AI-driven automation)
Strong teamwork and communication skills, with experience supporting multiple stakeholders/clients
Fluent English, written and spoken
Willingness to participate in rotating on-call shifts
Nice to have
Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-500, or similar)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates)
