Bagira is a leader in the field of training and simulation systems worldwide, is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the end-to-end design and construction of simulation sites in Israel and abroad.
This hands-on role combines architectural and infrastructure planning, drafting, project management, contractor coordination, and on-site supervision-from initial requirements through site handover and readiness for system installation.
Manage simulation-site construction projects from requirements definition and planning through execution, commissioning, and handover.
Translate technical and operational system requirements into construction, layout, and infrastructure plans.
Prepare site layouts, construction drawings, and detailed plans using AutoCAD.
Plan and coordinate site requirements, including electrical systems, communications, HVAC, lighting, acoustics, safety, accessibility, and related infrastructure.
Prepare and manage contractor tender documents, evaluate bids, and support the contractor selection process.
Coordinate and manage architects, structural engineers, professional consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, work plans, and milestones.
Supervise on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with approved plans, technical requirements, quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
Identify design and execution gaps and provide practical solutions during construction.
Conduct inspections, manage punch lists, and follow up on corrective work.
Ensure site readiness for the installation, integration, and commissioning of simulation systems. Collaborate with internal engineering, technical, operational, and project teams, as well as customers and local partners in Israel and abroad.
Take full responsibility for obtaining all required occupancy permits, approvals, certificates, “as made” drawing package, and sign-offs from professional engineers and the relevant authorities prior to project completion and handover.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Architecture, or a relevant practical engineering qualification.
At least five years of hands-on experience in the design, management, and on-site supervision of construction projects, from initial planning through completion and handover.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the preparation of site layouts, construction drawings, and detailed execution plans.
Proven experience coordinating architectural, construction, and infrastructure plans and working with contractors, suppliers, engineers, architects, and professional consultants.
Experience preparing and reviewing technical specifications, bills of quantities, cost estimates, project schedules, and contractor proposals.
Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, budgets, schedules, and priorities independently.
High-level English, including the ability to work with technical documentation and communicate in an international environment.
Willingness to travel to project sites in Israel and abroad.
Valid driving licence and access to a private vehicle.
