Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is looking for an IT Support & Computer Labs Coordinator to join our IT & Cyber Division.
This is a hands-on IT role combining technical support, hardware and software troubleshooting, computer lab operations, equipment management, and ongoing support for students and academic staff.
What you'll do
Plan, coordinate, and support the setup of public computer labs, including coordination with external contractors.
Perform ongoing and preventive maintenance of computers and peripheral equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install and maintain operating systems and software, including security updates and software license monitoring.
Provide technical support to students and academic staff using the computer labs.
Manage IT equipment inventory, purchasing, replacements, and allocation.
Support the planning, setup, and maintenance of departmental computer labs.
Requirements
Academic degree or Practical Engineering diploma.
At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Hands-on experience installing and supporting operating systems, hardware, and software.
