At Maytronics, the Senior Buyer plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the procurement process to ensure seamless supply chain operations. This position involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost-effective purchasing strategies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet company objectives.
Negotiate terms and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
Monitor market trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
Analyze supplier performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Proven experience in negotiating and managing supplier contracts.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
