What you'll do
Are you ready to join the team of software engineering experts at Kyndryl? We are seeking a talented Software Engineering Technical Specialist – Workday Integrations to contribute to the design, development, implementation, and support of integration solutions across Kyndryl's enterprise HR technology ecosystem, with Workday serving as the system of record.
As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop and support integrations connecting Workday to payroll, benefits, identity and access management, recruiting, learning, and other enterprise platforms. You will apply technical expertise to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions supporting critical employee lifecycle processes across a global organization.

In this role, you will partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Security, and external vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions. You will contribute to troubleshooting complex business and technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and help drive resolution of production incidents affecting enterprise HR processes.
You will participate in the design, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of Workday integrations using platform-native capabilities and established enterprise integration practices. Your focus will be on data accuracy, operational stability, security, compliance, and process efficiency across hire-to-retire business functions.
Working closely with engineers, architects, platform administrators, and business stakeholders, you will contribute to integration projects and operational initiatives while helping ensure successful delivery of enhancements, regulatory changes, business process improvements, and platform releases.
You will continuously identify opportunities to improve integration reliability, automation, monitoring, and support processes. Through technical expertise and collaboration, you will help improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and delivery of HR technology services that support Kyndryl's global workforce.

Job Qualifications

Experience supporting, developing, and maintaining enterprise integrations, preferably with Workday as a system of record.
Hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies (e.g., Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, APIs, Workday Web Services).
Understanding of Hire-to-Retire business processes, including worker lifecycle events, payroll, benefits, and compensation data flows.
Experience integrating Workday or other SaaS applications with downstream systems such as payroll providers, benefits vendors, identity and access management platforms, or third-party service providers.
Experience supporting production operations, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and issue remediation.
Working knowledge of integration technologies and data formats including XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, and file-based integrations.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in a cross-functional enterprise environment.
Nice to have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience supporting Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Time Tracking, or Absence integrations.
Experience supporting global or multi-country HRIS integrations.
Familiarity with HR data privacy, security, and audit requirements related to employee data.
Workday Integration Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Experience working with SaaS vendors and external integration partners.
Experience participating in system implementations, enhancements, or enterprise HR technology projects.
And/or Master Certified Technical Specialist.
