About the role
A leading Defense Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design manufacturing tooling, fixtures, molds, lifting/assembly jigs, and written process documentation for CNC, composites, and integration projects.
What you'll do
Design manufacturing tools, jigs, molds, lifting, and inspection fixtures.
Write detailed manufacturing process documentation for parts and assemblies.
Lead engineering changes (ECOs) and optimize existing tooling.
Define technical specs and SOWs for subcontracted tooling manufacturing.
Provide ongoing engineering support to manufacturing teams and vendor operations.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of experience in Mechanical Design
High proficiency in SolidWorks
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and drafting standards
Nice to have
