Mechanical Design Engineer | Defense Industry | Dimona Area
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to join an engineering team in a defense-industry environment.
The position is suitable for an engineer who enjoys hands-on mechanical design and detailed engineering work, and is looking to deepen their professional experience in a stable, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
What you'll do
Mechanical design and development according to engineering and customer requirements
Preparation of drawings, 3D models and manufacturing documentation using CAD tools
Engineering calculations and design-supporting analyses
Participation in design and development processes including SRR, PDR and CDR
Working according to engineering standards and regulatory requirements
Collaboration with engineering, production and other internal and external interfaces
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – required
At least 4 years of hands-on mechanical design experience – required
Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks – required
Basic knowledge of engineering calculation/analysis software – required
Strong technical understanding and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good Hebrew and English, including technical documentation
