We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop airborne mechanical assemblies, structures, and avionics packaging, and to support projects from design reviews through manufacturing, integration, aircraft surveys, and on-site installation.
What you'll do
Develop concepts, detailed designs, 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for airborne mechanical systems;
Design metallic, sheet-metal, machined, and composite components with attention to weight, cost, reliability, and manufacturability;
Prepare and present technical packages for PDR and CDR reviews;
Coordinate mechanical interfaces with systems, stress, electrical, avionics, manufacturing, quality, test, and certification teams;
