About the AI Division
The AI Division is a unique and dedicated group within Ceva, driving innovation in Machine Learning and Generative AI architectures for edge devices and cloud inference. About the role:
We are looking for a CAD/Emulation Graduate Engineer to join our infrastructure team in Serbia. This position is designed as an entry-level role for a recent graduate, providing hands-on experience with advanced VLSI CAD/Emulation and infrastructure and will require close collaboration with global development teams.
This role will serve as a local CAD/Emulation focal point in Serbia, supporting ongoing projects while working closely with teams in Israel and across global sites.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation scripts for front-end Emulation and VLSI CAD flows and automation.
Support execution and releases of VLSI artifacts while marinating advanced CAD flows.
Assist in improving infrastructure efficiency and tool integration.
Work with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for regression and build environments.
Collaborate daily with global teams (mainly Israel-based teams).
Own and rule top notch emulation methodologies and procedures.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (recent graduate).
Up to 1-2 years of experience (including internships / academic projects).
Strong programming skills:
Python (must)
Linux/Unix shell scripting (must)
Basic understanding of VLSI / ASIC / verification concepts (academic level is sufficient).
Fluent English – mandatory for daily collaboration with global teams.
Strong motivation to learn and grow in CAD /Emulation and infrastructure general domain
Advantages:
Exposure to Perl / TCL scripting
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps / TFS)
Academic or internship experience with simulation, verification, or EDA tools
Previous knowledge in Emulation / FPGA prototyping is a plus.
