Description
Who we are:
The 4M story is likely one you haven’t heard before: We are on a mission to unlock access to the world below us - to do for the world underground what Google Maps did for the world above. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we are mapping the subsurface infrastructure to make reliable, real-time utility data accessible to the construction industry - completely transforming a traditional sector. We’re a growing startup with 120+ employees, based in Tel Aviv, Israel and Austin, Texas.
About the role:
We’re looking for a highly capable People Partner to become a key force multiplier within our HR team.
This is not a classic HRBP role, nor a traditional HR Operations role. We’re looking for a true builder - someone who loves creating structure from scratch, improving the way things work, turning ideas into reality, and helping evolve a thoughtful, high-performing organization.
You’ll work closely with the HR team and key stakeholders on company-wide initiatives, OD processes, manager enablement, and strengthening the HR infrastructure of a growing global company.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, combines strategic thinking with strong execution, navigates people dynamics with maturity, and naturally leverages modern AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
You’ll have significant ownership, autonomy, and impact on how the company grows.
What you’ll do:
Drive and support HR programs & infrastructure
Build HR programs, processes, and frameworks from the ground up
Support core HR cycles, including performance reviews, compensation reviews, engagement surveys, and calibration processes
Design and lead learning experiences, workshops, and development initiatives across the company
Improve and optimize workflows, systems, policies, and operational infrastructure
Drive HR analytics and reporting to support business decisions
Partner with managers and teams
Act as a trusted thought partner and support both managers and ICs through people-related challenges, talent development, and organizational dynamics
Help strengthen communication, collaboration, and employee experience across the company
Work as part of a collaborative and impact-driven HR team
Partner closely with the Head of HR and HR team on multiple initiatives
Independently lead projects from idea to execution
Bring structure, prioritization, and clarity to a fast-moving environment
Help evolve the HR function for the company’s next stage
Requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in broad HR roles within fast-paced, tech environments
High-agency mindset with a strong tendency toward ownership, initiative, and independent execution
Strong AI adoption mindset and hands-on experience leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work (e.g., for research, analysis, workflow optimization, and knowledge management)
Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with data, metrics, and insights to support decision-making
Understanding of modern HR best practices and organizational trends, with the ability to bring ideas and perspectives from high-performing companies into a startup environment
Excellent project management and prioritization skills
High level of emotional intelligence and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and navigate sensitive situations across different stakeholders and seniority levels
Fluent English and Hebrew - experience working globally preferred
Experience leading performance and compensation cycles preferred
Who you are:
Most importantly - you care deeply about people
You’re a builder at heart
You don’t wait for instructions - you create clarity
You know how to balance empathy with accountability
You can move between strategic discussions and operational details seamlessly
You’re curious, adaptive, and excited by modern tools and technologies - and how they can reshape the future of work
Is this role relevant for you?
