International Business Development Manager – Defense, Aerospace & HLS at Teldor · Trevo
About Teldor
Teldor is an Israeli engineering and manufacturing company specializing in mission-critical connectivity solutions for demanding environments.
We develop advanced copper, fiber-optic, hybrid, and specialized connectivity solutions for defense, aerospace, naval, homeland security, MOG, Industrial, transportation, AI Data Centers, and other high-reliability applications. Our approach is to work as an engineering and design partner, not simply as a cable supplier.
We are looking for an experienced Director of International Business Development – Defense, Aerospace & HLS to drive Teldor’s growth in global markets.
The role focuses on developing new strategic customers, programs, partnerships, and platform-level opportunities outside Israel, with emphasis on North America, Europe, and other priority international markets.
This is a business development role, not a traditional sales role. The focus is on creating opportunities early, building access to key decision-makers, shaping customer requirements, and positioning Teldor for long-term design-in, qualification, and strategic programs.
The role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
What you'll do

Identify and penetrate new defense primes, aerospace OEMs, system integrators and technology partners.
Build strategic account, platform and program opportunity maps.
Develop early-stage design-in, qualification and co-development opportunities.
Build senior-level relationships with business, engineering, program and procurement stakeholders.
Develop strategic partnerships and local market-entry channels where required.
Drive opportunities across areas such as land systems, C4I, EW, naval, aerospace, UAV/UGV/USV, tethered systems, secure communications and HLS applications.
Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to translate customer requirements into differentiated connectivity solutions.
Coordinate with International Sales as opportunities progress into formal commercial execution.
Maintain strong market intelligence on programs, technologies, competitors, and procurement trends.
Requirements
Significant experience (min 5 years) in international business development in Defense, Aerospace or HLS.
Proven relationships with defense primes, OEMs, system integrators or advanced technology companies.
Experience developing complex, long-cycle and platform-level opportunities.
Strong ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
Experience with design-in, qualification or specification-led business development.
Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively internationally.
Engineering or other relevant technical background is an advantage, particularly in electrical, electronics, communications, systems, or related engineering disciplines.
Fluent English.
