Following several landmark FAA authorizations and thousands of successful commercial missions, we are currently driving a major U.S. expansion, starting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our rapidly expanding, multi-talented team in central Tel Aviv.
In this role, you will be a part of the Flytrex’s mechanical team - responsible for developing drones and sub-assembly as well as leading a full product lifecycle in addition to experiments, lab work and team work.
What you'll do
Ownership of complex mechanical engineering and design initiatives.
Comprehensive Design Lifecycle: Leading the process from initial concepts through detailed 3D modeling and engineering.
Technical Documentation: Preparing and maintaining production data, including assembly guides, technical drawings, and BOMs.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Contributing to physical prototyping and cross-disciplinary development projects.
Problem Solving: Identifying and fixing mechanical problems during the prototype evaluation phase.
Expertise & Collaboration: Serving as a technical resource while supporting routine operations and team objectives.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering - must.
10+ years of experience in complex multidisciplinary system development - must.
Preferred: Background in UAV, aerospace, or high-performance robotics.
Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and PDM systems.
Extensive hands-on expertise in plastics, metal, and carbon materials across all types of designs.
High level of English, both written and verbal- must.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
