We're looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and take an active role in designing innovative mechanical systems from concept to production.
What you'll do
Design, develop, and optimize mechanical components, assemblies, and mechanisms for advanced defense products.
Own the mechanical design process from concept, prototyping, detailed design, validation, and production.
Perform hands-on work in the lab, supporting prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
Work closely with Hardware, Electronics, Manufacturing, and System Engineering teams to deliver robust and manufacturable solutions.
Create complex CAD models and production drawings using SolidWorks.
Design mechanisms while balancing performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Support engineering investigations, root cause analysis, and continuous product improvements.
Requirements
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
3+ years of experience in mechanical design of multidisciplinary products.
Strong hands-on approach with willingness to work in the lab and on the production floor.
Excellent proficiency in SolidWorks (Surface modeling is an advantage).
Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
Experience in designing mechanisms.
Deep understanding of manufacturing technologies, including: Plastic injection molding, CNC machining, Sheet metal design.
Experience designing for manufacturability (DFM/DFA).
