We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SMT Process Engineer to join our team.
What you'll do
Provide day-to-day engineering support for SMT production lines.
Monitor and optimize SMT manufacturing processes to ensure high quality, yield, and productivity.
Investigate and resolve process-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process development, validation, and production readiness.
Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
Analyze production data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
Support process qualification, equipment validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, SPI, AOI, and X-Ray inspection systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering
Up to two years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Recent graduates with relevant academic projects or internships are encouraged to apply.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to have
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
Familiarity with AOI, SPI, X-Ray inspection systems, and reflow profiling.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.
Experience with MES and ERP systems is an advantage.
Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment is an advantage.
