Job description
As we continue to grow across North America, we are looking for a Field Service Technician to support the day-to-day management, preparation, inspection, transfer, and maintenance of the Exodigo equipment and deployment kits.
This employee will work closely with the Head of Field Operations and supply chain teams to ensure that equipment is organized, operational, and ready to support field deployments across the United States. The role integrates warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, field support, and equipment preparation activities.
The ideal candidate is organized, has a practical approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of equipment and kits
Preparation, inspection, organization, and maintenance of field equipment and deployment kits.
Perform basic performance tests before and after deployments.
Make sure kits are complete, labeled, and ready to use.
Assistance with start-up and decommissioning activities.
Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management
Support for inventory management activities at the company's facilities and third-party logistics facilities (3PL).
Monitoring the movement of equipment and status updates in the company's systems.
Assistance with inventory audits, periodic counts, and inventory organization.
Maintain accurate records of equipment locations and availability.
Logistical Support
Coordinating incoming and outgoing equipment shipments.
Assistance in reception, packaging and delivery activities.
Tracking shipments and equipment transfers between locations.
Working closely with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure timely availability of equipment.
Space Support
Traveling to warehouses and project sites as needed.
Assisting in the establishment of equipment and operational preparation activities.
Support for deployment and collection activities as needed.
Documenting observations and reporting operational problems to internal teams.
Equipment Maintenance
Performing routine equipment tests and basic troubleshooting.
Assistance in cleaning, maintenance, and organization of the equipment.
Coordinate repairs and service activities with approved suppliers when needed.
Support for software and firmware updates in accordance with established procedures.
Process Documentation and Improvement
Maintain accurate operational records and equipment documentation.
Assist in creating and updating procedures, checklists, and operational manuals.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, organization, and equipment preparation.
Safety and Compliance
Compliance with the company's safety policies and best practices in the warehouse.
Proper handling and transportation of equipment, batteries, and related materials.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Requirements
Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, field operations, technical support, or similar environments – an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems – an advantage.
NetSuite experience is a plus.
Mastering Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools is a plus.
A valid driver's license and the ability to drive as needed – mandatory.
Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 pounds (approximately 16 kg).
Work and travel environment
Full-time
A combination of warehouse, office and space environments
Up to 25% of travel across the United States
Occasional flexibility in working hours may be required to support operational needs and project schedules
Salary: $58,000 - $70,000
