About the role
We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join a large-scale enterprise Production environment and take part in managing critical infrastructure, servers, virtualization platforms, and core systems.
What you'll do
Manage, maintain, and support Linux and Solaris servers in a large-scale enterprise Production environment.
Perform hands-on work with physical servers, including installation, disassembly and assembly, replacement of basic hardware components such as fans and faulty parts, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
Install Linux operating systems on both physical and virtual servers, including deployment, configuration, and ongoing administration.
Manage and operate VMware / vCenter virtualization environments.
Support and maintain ISP, DNS, and Mail infrastructures.
Manage and operate HPOV monitoring and management systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, hardware, and infrastructure issues while implementing performance and availability improvements.
Lead and participate in infrastructure-related projects and work closely with multiple teams and stakeholders across the organization.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator.
Proven experience working in large and complex Production environments.
Hands-on experience with physical servers, including installation, assembly/disassembly, hardware replacement, and troubleshooting physical server issues.
Experience installing Linux operating systems on both physical and virtual servers.
Hands-on experience managing and administering VMware / vCenter environments.
Experience working with Red Hat, CentOS, and Solaris.
Knowledge of Bash scripting.
Strong self-learning ability, troubleshooting skills, and excellent teamwork capabilities.
