We are looking for a Game Designer with a passion for kids' games, a strong sense of gameplay and storytelling, and an understanding of the industry, market, and target audiences.
You'll work together with the Game Design team on designing new and exciting levels, while working closely with the creative team to make sure all the details, interactions, and placement of elements are polished and work as intended. You'll use existing components and tools provided by the development team to bring game concepts and levels together. Think of it as putting together the Lego pieces — shaping the experience rather than building the underlying systems.
You'll coordinate with other Game Designers, ensure the quality of the gameplay experience, and collaborate with different teams across the company.
Ideal candidates will have experience in game and level design, strong creative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
What you'll do
You'll be responsible for placing and integrating art assets within the game experience, using existing tools and components provided by the development team. Work with the Game Designer to take a game concept and break it down into an exciting and innovative experience for Pazu’s players. Write clear level documentation to communicate all game aspects with the entire team (Dev, Art, QA, etc.). Collaborate closely with the Art and Dev teams to ensure all level requirements are brought together accurately in the final experience.
You’ll also be responsible for reviewing and approving the final product, monitoring game performance, analyzing player experience, and suggesting improvements as needed.
