About the role

At ONE ZERO, Israel’s first fully digital bank, we’re building the technology that powers a new era of intuitive, transparent, and people‑first banking. As our platform grows and our services expand, we are looking for a skilled Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team at ONE ZERO. The ideal candidate is a strategic professional with a strong passion for financial excellence in the digital banking sector. As a key member of our team, you will oversee critical financial activities, implement robust financial controls, and ensure accurate reporting within our innovative, AI‑driven banking environment. Your Day-to-Day Prepare quarterly and yearly financial reports. Compile monthly reports for management and the Board of Directors, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital adequacy ratios. Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to the Bank of Israel in accordance with all applicable regulations and standards. Enforce financial reporting controls to ensure regulatory compliance and uphold data accuracy. Prepare the bank's annual tax report.

Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - must.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, or related fields.
  • Experience preparing financial statements and managing financial reporting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High level of English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

  • Strong knowledge of ERP, with a preference for Oracle and SAP.
  • Knowledge and experience in preparing disclosures on "Credit to the public".
