Role Description
This is a full-time Senior FinOps Engineer role at CloudTeam.
As a Senior FinOps Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the FinOps services we deliver to our customers, managing day-to-day financial operations and cost & AI management in customers' environments, supporting other teammates, etc. Your duties will include optimizing cloud spending, developing financial strategies, and leveraging cloud financial management tools.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud financial management/FinOps
Deep understanding of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their pricing models
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical and financial concepts to diverse audiences
Experience using FinOps tools
Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools
Proficiency with infrastructure as code
Solid understanding of financial concepts as they apply to technology investments
