Product Marketing & Content Manager at anecdotes · Trevo
We’re looking for a modern, hands-on product marketer who can connect the dots between our product, our market, and the content we put into the world.
This role brings together product marketing, content, and organic social. You’ll understand what we’re building and why it matters, turn complex GRC and AI topics into clear and compelling stories, and make sure those stories actually reach the right people.
You’ll be the connective tissue between our market, customers, product, and the stories we take to market using AI and agentic workflows to continuously turn signals into better messaging, content, and GTM execution.
We’re looking for a builder, not someone who only creates strategy or briefs others. You’ll write, launch, experiment, talk to customers and product teams, work with analysts, and use AI to dramatically increase what one person can accomplish.
What you'll do
Your scope will span several closely connected areas:
Product marketing
Own positioning and messaging for products, capabilities, solutions, and launches.
Turn new product capabilities into stories that customers and prospects immediately understand.
Partner closely with Product, Sales, and Customer Success to understand what customers care about and where our messaging needs to improve.
Support product launches from the initial story through launch and ongoing adoption.
Competitive & market intelligence
Continuously understand our competitors: how they position themselves, what they launch etc
Turn competitive signals into actionable insights for Sales, Product, and Marketing.
Analyst Relations
Own our relationships and briefings with analysts at Gartner, IDC, Forrester, and other relevant firms.
Manage submissions, briefings, inquiries, and ongoing analyst engagement.
Content
Own our content strategy and editorial calendar.
Create strong content across formats: thought leadership, blogs, customer stories, guides, reports, launch content, and more.
Repurpose one strong idea into multiple useful formats
Website messaging
Make sure the website reflects our latest positioning, product capabilities, and market direction.
Organic social
Own our company’s organic social presence, particularly LinkedIn.
Turn product launches, customer insights, company expertise, and market developments into conversations.
Experiment with formats, topics, and approaches to understand what gets our audience to stop, engage, and remember us.
AI is a core part of how you work
Using ChatGPT to help write a blog isn't what we mean by being good at AI. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely curious about how AI and agents can change the way product marketing and content are done.
You don't need to be an engineer. But you should be comfortable experimenting with AI tools, agents, automation, and new workflows.
Requirements
Experience in product marketing, content, or a role that combined both.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or another complex technical B2B category.
Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
Strong understanding of B2B products and how to translate capabilities into customer value.
A hands-on mentality and strong bias toward execution.
Experience creating content across different formats and channels.
Comfort working directly with Product, Sales, customers, analysts, and senior leadership.
Deep curiosity and hands-on experience with AI. You actively experiment with AI, automation, and agents rather than waiting for someone to tell you how to use them. The ability to own multiple projects from idea through execution without needing a large team around you.
Summary
As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll craft compelling messaging and content that skyrockets awareness, engagement and conversion - guiding every go-to-market initiative across Marketing, Product and Sales.
