Secure our AWS and Kubernetes environments while embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle, from CI/CD pipelines to threat modeling and architecture reviews.
Build automation and internal tooling that strengthens security and enables engineering teams to move faster.
Continuously improve our security posture through monitoring, detection, incident response, and risk management across cloud services, third-party integrations, and the software supply chain.
Define security standards, engineering best practices, and developer security processes.
Partner closely with engineering teams to build secure-by-design systems and shape security practices for emerging technologies, including AI-driven development.
Requirements
Join our founding security team as a Senior Security Engineer and help build the security foundations of our platform and engineering organization. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll work closely with engineering to design, build, and scale security across our cloud infrastructure, applications, developer workflows, and internal tooling. From security engineering and automation to architecture, incident response, and AI security, you'll play a key role in shaping how security is built at Linx from the ground up.
What you'll bring:
Strong background in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps, with hands-on experience securing production cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Experience securing Kubernetes environments and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
Strong programming or scripting skills (Python, Go, or similar), with a passion for building security automation and internal tools.
Deep understanding of modern application, cloud, and infrastructure security, with experience operating large-scale production systems.
Nice to have
Experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, or incident response.
Familiarity with identity platforms (e.g., Auth0, Okta), compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001), or third-party security risk management.
Experience working in a cybersecurity company or scaling SaaS environment.
