The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for driving the planning, coordination, governance, and execution of cross-functional technology programs and strategic initiatives across the Technology division.
The TPM serves as a central coordination point between Technology, Product Management, business stakeholders, and executive management, ensuring that technology initiatives are clearly defined, effectively planned, transparently tracked, and successfully delivered.
The role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, program management expertise, business orientation, and the ability to drive execution across multiple teams without necessarily having direct managerial authority.
What you'll do
Lead the coordination, planning, and tracking of technology programs and software-based projects across the Technology division.
Develop and maintain integrated program and project plans, including milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, and delivery schedules.
Drive end-to-end program governance to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.
Collaborate closely with Product Management to understand business needs, translate them into executable technology initiatives, and serve as a key coordination point between Product and Technology.
Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders across the organization to understand priorities, align expectations, and facilitate effective execution.
Identify cross-team dependencies, risks, execution bottlenecks, and conflicting priorities, and proactively drive mitigation and resolution in collaboration with Technology senior management.
Lead the tracking and monitoring of major strategic technology initiatives, such as trading platform stabilization, infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, AI adoption, and other technology-led programs.
Establish and maintain clear reporting mechanisms and dashboards that provide visibility into program status, milestones, risks, dependencies, priorities, KPIs, and delivery progress.
Facilitate program governance meetings, project reviews, steering committees, planning sessions, and executive status updates.
Ensure effective communication and alignment between technical teams, Product Management, business stakeholders, and executive management.
Drive accountability across programs by actively following up on commitments, action items, decisions, milestones, and project deliverables.
Monitor program health through relevant KPIs and metrics and provide data-driven insights, escalation, and recommendations when corrective action is required.
Define, standardize, and continuously improve project and program management methodologies, governance processes, templates, tools, and best practices across the Technology division.
Coordinate post-project reviews, capture lessons learned and ensure that insights are incorporated into future programs and ways of working.
Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and operational excellence across the Technology organization.
Requirements
5+ years of proven experience in Technical Program Management, Project Management, or a similar role within a technology-driven organization.
Strong understanding of software development and technology delivery processes, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, data, security, and other technical teams.
Proven experience leading complex, cross-company and cross-functional projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Strong project and program management capabilities, including planning, dependency management, risk management, governance, and execution tracking.
Ability to understand business requirements and effectively bridge the gap between business, Product, and Technology teams.
Strong analytical skills and experience using KPIs, metrics, and reporting to assess program health and support decision-making.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Ability to influence, create alignment, and drive accountability without relying on direct managerial authority.
