Product Communications Lead, Additive Manufacturing Solutions Description - Reporting to the Global Head of Print Communications, this role leads communications for HP’s Additive Manufacturing solutions business. The role serves as the global communications point of contact for 3D printing, translating complex technologies, industry use cases, and innovation milestones into clear, credible storytelling that strengthens HP’s leadership in additive manufacturing. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, comfort operating in highly technical and industry-driven environments, and the ability to connect business priorities to meaningful external narratives. Responsibilities Lead global communications for HP’s Additive Manufacturing Solutions business, serving as the primary point of contact for 3D printing communications and a trusted advisor to business leader Develop and execute proactive and reactive communications strategies that advance HP’s position in additive manufacturing, spanning product launches, customer stories, and industry visibility Translate complex technologies and applications into clear, compelling narratives across key verticals (e.g., automotive, industrial), ensuring alignment with HP’s broader innovation and growth priorities Drive communications for major industry moments, including trade shows, events, and ecosystem announcements, maximizing visibility and media engagement (e.g., RAPID + TCT and similar forums) Shape media and influencer engagement strategy within the additive manufacturing and 3D printing ecosystem, including trade media, analysts, and industry stakeholders Partner cross-functionally with business, marketing, analyst relations, and regional teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and impact across geographies and audiences Manage agency partners and external vendors, ensuring strong execution, clear direction, and timely delivery of materials for external publication Experience Recommended 8+ years of experience in product, corporate, or industry communications, ideally within technology, manufacturing, or industrial sectors Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, credible, and engaging way Demonstrated ability to operate globally and coordinate across regions, stakeholders, and agencies Strong executive presence, sound judgment, and ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities What Success Looks Like Business leaders trust this role as a strategic, thoughtful communications partner HP’s additive manufacturing narrative is clear, consistent, and connected to overarching HP priorities Teams and agencies are aligned, focused, and delivering high-quality work Risks are anticipated and managed with clarity and confidence Communications effort is intentional, disciplined, and impactful Sales & Services entity What we offer: A truly international experience: Work in a global organization with colleagues from 60+ nationalities, collaborating across cultures and geographies.
