DRS RADA Technologies, a leading defense company developing and manufacturing life-saving radar systems, is looking for a Test Equipment Technician to join our site in Beit She’an.
What you'll do
Participate in the assembly and integration of manual and automated test equipment according to engineering designs.
Perform maintenance of manual and automated test equipment, including troubleshooting, software configuration, and occasional RF calibration.
Provide support and maintenance for factory test systems, anechoic chambers, ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) equipment, and test & measurement equipment.
Support ongoing projects and implement new test systems.
Requirements
Practical Engineer or Technician diploma – Mandatory.
Strong technical background and relevant hands-on experience – Mandatory.
Willingness to be on-call and respond to emergency support requests when required, with the ability to travel to the site.
Experience working with test and measurement equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Fluke Digital Multimeter (DMM), and Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
Knowledge and/or experience with RF systems – Advantage (including integration of combined hardware/software test systems, cabling, and RF instrumentation).
Familiarity with LabVIEW, C, C, or Python programming – Advantage.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues through to resolution.
Self-learning capability and the ability to lead projects independently.

Experience maintaining integrated hardware/software test systems
