Job description
Description
Orchid Security is the Identity Infrastructure Control Plane, the independent layer that connects what enterprises already own across IAM, PAM, IGA, and SaaS systems. We help security teams see inside applications, govern what actually happens at execution time, and close the gap between identity intent and identity reality.
We’re a 70-person seed-stage company moving fast in a $23B market. Our customers include Fortune 500 banks, global retailers, and complex enterprises where identity security is mission-critical.
The Role
We’re hiring our first Field Marketing Manager to own Orchid’s presence on the field. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to turn events, executive programs, and regional campaigns into a real pipeline. You’ll be the face of Orchid in the field, working closely with sales to open doors and deepen relationships with some of the most security-conscious enterprises in the world.
You’ll own the full regional marketing motion: third-party events, Orchid-hosted experiences, account-based field programs, and the local presence that makes the brand real to buyers. This role reports directly to the VP Marketing and sits at the intersection of marketing and sales.
You’re on the ground, you move fast, and you measure everything by pipeline impact. Success in this role means the East Coast sales team has a steady flow of engaged prospects, memorable experiences that create preference for Orchid, and field programs that consistently convert to revenue.
Requirements
What You’ll Own
Plan and execute Orchid’s field events strategy: industry conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and presence at key cybersecurity and identity security events including RSA, Gartner, regional CISO forums and more.
Design and run Orchid-hosted executive programs: roundtables, dinners, workshops, and bespoke experiences that bring CISOs, IAM leads, and GRC teams into meaningful conversations with Orchid
Build and run account-based field programs in close partnership with regional sales reps, targeting high-priority accounts with tailored, high-touch marketing touchpoints
Own end-to-end event logistics: vendor management, venue sourcing, speaker coordination, booth production, budget tracking, and on-site execution
Drive pre- and post-event engagement: work with demand gen and marketing ops to build outreach sequences that maximize attendance, follow-up, and pipeline conversion
Track and report on field marketing ROI: pipeline sourced, pipeline influenced, event attendance, and account engagement metrics
Partner with Product Marketing to ensure messaging consistency across all field activities and sales tools used in the region
Collaborate with the broader marketing team on integrated campaign moments that amplify field activity with digital and content programs
What We’re Looking For
4 to 6 years of field marketing or event marketing experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology
Proven ability to plan and execute a regional event calendar from scratch, managing budget, logistics, and vendor relationships simultaneously
Strong partnership instincts with sales: you understand pipeline, speak the language of revenue, and know how to build trust with field reps
Experience running executive programs and intimate customer experiences, not just booth presence at large trade shows
Hands-on approach to account-based field programs: you’ve tailored marketing activity to specific high-value accounts and can show the impact
Data-driven mindset: you track pipeline contribution and use results to prioritize and improve your program mix
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple events and programs simultaneously without dropping details
Based on the East Coast with willingness to travel regularly across the region and occasionally nationally
Nice to Have
Experience in cybersecurity, identity security, IAM, or adjacent enterprise security markets
Familiarity with the enterprise security buyer: CISOs, IAM leads, GRC teams, and how they engage at events
Background at an early-stage startup where you built the field marketing function without an existing playbook
Experience with intent data and ABM platforms such as 6sense or Demandbase to inform field targeting
Existing relationships within the East Coast cybersecurity and enterprise IT community
Why Orchid
First field marketing hire. You’ll build the regional function and define how Orchid shows up in the market
Real enterprise customers on Day 1: you’ll be marketing to and alongside organizations like Costco, Fortune 50 banks, and global insurance firms
A technical differentiation story worth putting in front of buyers, not generic cybersecurity positioning
Tight partnership with a sales team that values marketing and measures it by pipeline, not activity
Competitive compensation, meaningful equity, full flexibility, and a team that takes the work seriously
Orchid Security is an equal opportunity employer. We’re building a diverse team and strongly encourage candidates from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.
