Direct Procurement Specialist

Responsibility for procuring raw materials, packaging materials, and services related to direct procurement, while ensuring compliance with quality standards, meeting supply requirements, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Managing negotiations and finalizing commercial contracts with existing and new suppliers. Developing, evaluating, and approving new suppliers. Monitoring supplier payments, reviewing invoices, and identifying and resolving discrepancies. Assist the Quality Assurance Department in the qualification and approval of new suppliers, in accordance with company requirements and procedures, with a focus on quality and food safety aspects. Participate in the annual evaluation process of raw material and packaging suppliers. Assist in handling quality complaints related to raw material and packaging suppliers, including follow-up on corrective actions and their implementation, as required. Manage purchase orders on an ongoing basis, both in the system and in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate deliveries on an ongoing basis and prioritize raw material arrivals according to production plans and available storage capacity at the distribution center, while maintaining communication with all relevant stakeholders and suppliers. Maintain procurement master data in the system, as well as dynamic purchase order data. Extract annual data and prepare analyses based on quantities, consumption, and pricing, as a basis for negotiating and finalizing annual contracts. Manage and track preliminary samples of raw materials and packaging materials, and update the relevant systems with the required documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
