Granulate

Granulate is an Israeli company founded in 2018 that focuses on AI-driven optimization of cloud and on-premise compute workloads. Intel acquired Granulate in 2022 for approximately $650 million, making it a subsidiary of Intel.

Granulate's primary product is an AI-based optimization engine that operates at the OS and kernel level to improve CPU and memory utilization for production workloads — without requiring code changes. Its target customers are large enterprises running heavy cloud or on-premise workloads, specifically DevOps and infrastructure teams seeking to reduce cloud costs and latency caused by inefficient compute resource usage.

Granulate operated out of Tel Aviv, with its core R&D and engineering team based in Israel. The founders are Israeli.
