Deci

Deci was an Israeli AI company focused on deep learning model optimization. The company was acquired by NVIDIA in 2024.

Deci's primary product was a platform for optimizing neural networks to run faster and more efficiently on existing hardware, without sacrificing accuracy. The core technical approach centered on Automated Neural Architecture Construction (AutoNAC), a proprietary method for generating hardware-aware neural network architectures. The target buyers were ML engineers and data science teams in enterprises deploying inference-heavy AI workloads.

Deci's flagship product was the Deci Platform, which allowed teams to benchmark, optimize, and deploy deep learning models. The company also developed and open-sourced a family of efficient vision models called SuperGradients, a PyTorch-based training library. YOLO-NAS, a high-accuracy object detection model released in 2023, was one of the more publicly visible outputs from their AutoNAC technology and attracted significant attention in the computer vision community.

Deci competed in the AI inference optimization space alongside companies such as Neural Magic and Hailo (on the hardware side). The acquisition by NVIDIA in 2024 effectively ended Deci as an independent company.

Deci was headquartered in Tel Aviv. The founding team was Israeli, and core R&D was conducted in Israel.
