Job description
We are looking for a Hardware Engineer to investigate, design, and test the electronics at the heart of our platforms. Your work runs from an idea on the bench through design, board bring-up, and testing, all the way into production, across most of what we build: ultra-sensitive sensors, power circuits for transmitters, RF and noise-sensitive systems, high-speed digital and communication, and mixed-signal design with ADCs and DACs.
It is a hands-on role that also rewards real theoretical depth. You will dig into new sensing and acquisition methods, prove out what works, and turn it into solid, testable hardware. We move fast here, and you will work closely with the systems, embedded, mechanical, and sensing teams to make it happen.
Own the electronics you work on, from first concept and component selection to a working, tested design.
Bring up, test, debug, and investigate hardware: build the instrumentation, characterize behavior and failure modes, find the root cause, and reach clear conclusions.
Handle the board design that comes with it: schematic and layout, high-speed digital and analog, power electronics (SMPS), signal integrity, and impedance-matched design.
Research new sensors and data-acquisition methods, and turn the promising ones into working designs.
Take your designs through the review process, from kickoff to preliminary and critical design reviews.
Deliver production-ready design packages and see them through to manufacturing.
Work with the systems, embedded, mechanical, and sensing teams to design interfaces that just work.
