1. Job Title
Testing Engineer
Qualification & Skills
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering or related discipline
At least 4-5 years’ direct experience in system testing.
Skills/Experience:
· Product Testing
End-to-end testing of rugged embedded computing boards (VME, PMC, conduction-cooled enclosures)
Execution of Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for boards
· ATE handling/debugging
Expertise in Automated Test Equipment for high-speed interfaces and Ethernet switches
Familiarity with network performance analysers for L2/L3 testing
· Environmental Stress Screening (ESS):
Vibration, shock, thermal vacuum, humidity, and radiation testing
Mechanical fixturing for harsh environment tests
· PCB Level Diagnosis: Ability to read schematics and perform fault isolation on complex boards
· Networking and Interfaces: Testing of Ethernet switches, XAUI ports, and high-speed data interfaces
· Safety & Equipment Procedure: Compliance with ESD control plans and handling aerospace-grade components
· SAP/ERP Proficiency: Managing production-related activities and test data in ERP systems
· Report: Preparation of ATP reports, Failure Analysis Reports (FAR), and MIS reports
· Extensive knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and equipment, including their handling, storage, and transportation requirements.
· Manufacturing Process: Understanding of Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Time Study, Process Optimization.
· Production issues: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and cost optimization targeting to minimize delays
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
· ISO 9001:2015 mandatory; AS9100D preferred
Desired Skills:
· Time management skills to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
· Familiarity with testing for harsh environments such as vibration, radiation, shock, thermal vacuum and humidity.
