What we're looking for
Faye is looking for a Product / Operations Data Analyst to help shape how travelers experience Faye. In this role, you’ll work closely with Product, Data, Ops, Customer Experience, and leadership to understand customer behavior, measure product performance, and uncover opportunities to make our product and customer journeys better.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving startup environment, with real ownership, high impact, and strong exposure to cross-functional leaders. You’ll help us turn data into better product decisions and ultimately, better experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with Product Managers and leadership on high-impact product and customer experience questions.
Define, track, and evolve core product KPIs across key journeys and flows.
Analyze funnels, cohorts, feature adoption, user behavior, and customer drop-offs.
Identify friction points and translate them into clear product and business recommendations.
Design and analyze A/B tests and product experiments.
Measure the impact of product launches, feature changes, and customer experience improvements.
Use operational and support data to surface product opportunities and recurring customer pain points.
Build dashboards and recurring insights using Tableau, Mixpanel, Snowflake, and dbt.
Partner with Data and Engineering to improve tracking, event instrumentation, and metric definitions.
Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Several years of experience in analytics, business analysis, product analytics, or other data-focused roles.
Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large, real-world datasets.
Experience analyzing product funnels, cohorts, customer journeys, and feature usage.
Strong understanding of product metrics such as conversion, activation, engagement, retention, usage, and customer satisfaction.
Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and product measurement.
Experience with tools like Tableau, Mixpanel, dbt, and Snowflake - or similar.
Strong understanding of event tracking, data quality, and metric definitions.
Ability to connect product behavior with customer experience and business impact.
Comfortable working directly with Product, Operations, CX, Data, and leadership stakeholders.
Experience in consumer products, travel, insurance, fintech, or customer-facing digital products - a plus.
Python or R experience for deeper analysis - a plus.
A relevant academic degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
