Econergy is looking for a hands-on Financial Modeller to own and evolve the financial models that sit behind our project, portfolio, and corporate-level decisions. This is a builder's role: you'll be deep in the model itself, not reviewing someone else's work, and your output will directly feed M&A decisions, credit ratings, valuations, and forecasts across our European renewable energy portfolio. You will report to the Director, Economics & Planning.
עיקרי התפקיד
Build and maintain complex project, portfolio-level, and corporate financial models
Update, optimize, and stress-test existing models to keep them accurate and scalable as the portfolio grows
Support corporate development activity, including M&As and partnerships, with modelling and scenario analysis
Support reporting processes: credit rating submissions, valuations for reporting purposes, and forecasting cycles
Translate model outputs into decision-ready materials for different audiences (detailed backup for finance, a one-pager for the CFO, a one-liner for the CEO)
Partner with Asset Management, Corporate Development, and Accounting to ensure model assumptions reflect operational and market reality
דרישות
At least 2 full years of proven experience in project debt modelling
In-depth knowledge and excellent understanding of accounting principles
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, coherent, and simple manner.
Personal Qualities (weighted heavily)
Hands-on: comfortable rolling up your sleeves and building the model yourself, not just reviewing others' work
Proactive, can-do mindset: treats ambiguity and shifting priorities as part of the job, raises issues with a proposed solution attached
Ownership: takes a problem from raw data to decision-ready output without being micromanaged
Clear communicator: can flex the same content for a CFO-level deep dive and a CEO-level headline
Positive approach to information systems: sees ERP, BI tools, data platforms, automation, and AI as productivity multipliers, and is willing to invest time learning new tooling
