As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We're proud to work for a mission-driven company leveraging AI to transform the way we work. CrowdStrikers drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy while also being expected to contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. We use an AI-first mindset as a force multiplier to proactively and continuously accelerate execution, build expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.
The Core Services team owns the sensor infrastructure that every CrowdStrike endpoint depends on: secure network communications, cryptographic operations, content delivery, and secure local data storage. These are foundational runtime components that execute on every protected endpoint across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
As a Senior Engineer on this team, you will build, extend, and maintain the low-level systems that connect the Falcon Sensor to the CrowdStrike cloud — handling connection lifecycle management, traffic and protocol management, cryptographic integration, content delivery, and on-device storage at endpoint fleet scale.
This is a systems software role. You'll work close to the OS across multiple platforms, reason carefully about correctness and performance under real-world load, and hold a high engineering bar in a codebase where reliability is non-negotiable. You will work cross-functionally with peer engineers across Mac, Linux, Windows, and many other teams inside and outside your core organization in a diverse environment.
You're stepping into a team with established component ownership and a charter that is actively expanding. The engineering spans cross-platform correctness, performance-sensitive code paths, and cryptographic and network components where a defect is a security event. You'll work alongside engineers who take the reliability bar seriously; regressions here land on every protected endpoint simultaneously. If you want to build foundational software that runs at global scale and has a direct impact on security outcomes, this is the role.
