Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
The Integration Engineer is involved in the prototype design phase and zero-series production, bringing together mechanical, motion, electronics and software sub-systems and leading system-level testing and validation, to allow performance to SPEC, stability and quality.
The Integration Engineer is a critical pivot in product performance validation and quality.
The job includes:
Setting the infrastructure for enabling Integrating and validating multi-disciplinary systems (mechanical, motion & motion-control, scanner/optics, electronics and software) into a complete, working product.
Leading system bring-up, integration and performance validation through the prototype, zero-series and NPI phases.
Root-cause analysis and resolution of system-level integration and motion-control issues observed on the production floor and in the field.
Building and implementing integration and validation test setups, jigs and test benches to improve integration Performance to SPEC.
Working closely with R&D disciplines, suppliers and contract manufacturers, and representing integration in design reviews (PDR, CDR) and development gates.
Using data-driven analysis and monitoring to detect, characterize and prevent recurring quality issues.
Preparing integration and production files, flows and procedures, and supporting product transfer to high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
